Denine Hagen is a certified yoga instructor who teaches energetic Vinyasa-style yoga.

She practices everyday and loves the benefits of increased mobility, strength and sense of calm.

Certified Yoga and Stretch Instructor

Denine received her yoga certification from Cloud 9 Yoga in Kauai, HI.   Her continuing education includes the Yogi Flight School Arm Balance and Inversion program by Nathania Stambouli.

About Coach

Denine loves the creative process of designing flows that guide students to build their practice in particular focus areas.  Each power vinyasa flow is choreographed to a calming playlist to help students achieve a moving meditation in their asana practice.

When not practicing yoga, Denine enjoys an active lifestyle including golf, pickleball, paddleboarding, hiking and fitness.  She is married to her best friend Chris and is the proud mama to two beautiful daughters. Denine is an avid world traveler and is constantly planning her next adventure with family and friends.

Turning Point

Denine and her husband moved to the lake country in 2021 from San Diego, CA after she retired from a 30-year career in higher education.  

Fitness has always been an important part of Denine’s life, but she discovered the benefits of a daily yoga practice when she faced retirement, an empty nest and the pandemic in 2020.  She loves how yoga brings presence, calmness and connection.

Motivation & Passion

Denine finds joy in the mind-body connection and choreography of vinyasa flows.  She is motivated by the sense of well-being and gratitude she experiences everytime she steps onto the mat.  Denine is excited to share the benefits of yoga practice with members and visitors to the Well.

Denine will offer several classes including: Dynamic Strength Flow


Feel present and connected as you link breath and movement in this full-body, dynamic strength Vinyasa flow.  We’ll begin the class with a centering warm-up, followed by creative sun salutations, challenge ourselves with a moving meditation power flow, and complete the class with deep stretches.  This class is appropriate for all levels.
